Refund and Returns Policy

At ALREADY THERE SRL (through the meditationmaster.org platform), we strive to provide a transformative experience and maintain a harmonious environment. Since we organize both online events and physical retreats that involve significant logistical and administrative fixed costs, we have established the following refund and cancellation policy.
 
By purchasing any product or service from our website, you agree to the terms of this policy.
 

1. ONLINE EVENTS AND DIGITAL PRODUCTS

For online courses, live-streamed workshops, and video recordings, the policy is as follows:
 
  • Cancellation more than 7 days before the event: You will receive a full (100%) refund of the amount paid.
  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the event: No financial refunds will be granted, as access to materials and technical preparation have already been provided.
  • No-show for the live event: If you registered but do not attend the live session, no refund will be granted. However, you will have access to the event recording (if applicable), according to the access terms.
  • Legal Note: Under Romanian OUG 34/2014 (transposing EU Directive 2011/83/EU), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent, nor to the provision of services on a specific date.
 

2. PHYSICAL RETREATS (Weekend and 1-2 Weeks)

Physical retreats involve fixed costs incurred in advance (accommodation bookings, catering, venue rentals, facilitator travel, etc.). Therefore, the legal 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation, catering, and leisure activities scheduled for a specific date (according to exceptions in European and national legislation).
 
To be fair, we have implemented the following tiered cancellation system:
 
  • More than 60 days before the retreat starts:
    • 100% financial refund (minus any bank transfer fees).
    • OR the option to transfer the spot to another participant.
  • Between 30 and 60 days before the retreat starts:
    • 50% financial refund.
    • OR the option to keep 100% of the paid amount as Credit / Voucher to attend a future retreat organized by MeditationMaster (valid for 12 months).
  • Between 15 and 30 days before the retreat starts:
    • No financial refunds.
    • You may transfer the ticket to another person (with prior notice to our team).
    • OR you may opt for a Credit / Voucher worth 75% of the paid amount, valid for 12 months for a future retreat.
  • Less than 15 days before the retreat starts:
    • No financial refunds.
    • Ticket transfers to another person are no longer accepted (due to logistical and group security reasons).
    • No credit vouchers will be issued.
 

3. TICKET TRANSFER

If you can no longer attend a physical retreat but wish to send someone in your place (within the allowed timeframes mentioned above), this is possible. The replacement person must complete the registration form and sign the participation agreement. Please notify us at contact@meditationmaster.org at least 48 hours before the event.
 

4. MEDICAL REASONS, FORCE MAJEURE, AND INSURANCE

  • Cancellation Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel and cancellation insurance (covering cancellation due to medical reasons or force majeure) immediately upon booking a physical retreat. We are not responsible for travel costs, extra accommodation, or financial losses caused by flight delays, illness, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Participant Illness: If you become ill and cannot attend, the cancellation rules in Section 2 apply. The issued voucher/credit can be used by you once you have recovered.
 

5. CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION BY US (MeditationMaster)

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an event (online or physical) in exceptional circumstances (force majeure, insufficient number of participants, facilitator illness, venue issues).
  • In this case, we will notify you as soon as possible.
  • You will have the option to receive a full (100%) refund or to move your participation to the next edition of the event.
  • We are not liable for any additional costs you may have incurred (e.g., flight tickets, external accommodation).
 

6. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund or credit, please send an email to contact@meditationmaster.org with the subject “Cancellation/Refund Request – [Event Name]”. Please include:
  1. Your full name.
  2. Order number / Participant ID.
  3. Date of the event.
  4. Your preference (Financial refund / Ticket transfer / Credit for a future event).
 

7. PROCESSING TIME

  • Approved financial refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 business days from the approval of the request.
  • The amount will be refunded exclusively via the same payment method used for the purchase (or via bank transfer, upon request).
  • Vouchers / Credits will be issued as a promotional code within 48 hours of approval.
